Minecraft 1.13 snapshot, play with it?
In order to breath new life into the server on its 5th year we are considering some big changes. One of them being a brand new map. The huge amount of changes in Minecraft 1.13 will result in a LOT of plugins not working, they will need to be updated by the plugin developer.

As such I would love to run the 1.13 snapshot for a week or so. Of course I’m not the only player so I will only do this if the majority agrees.

What I would do is move ALL server files into a temp directory. Instal the vanilla 1.13 snapshot and we play with that. This means no claims, no ranks, no discord link, no money, no shops etc. Just pure Minecraft for x amount of time. Once that time passes the regular server comes back and we wait for Mojang to release the final version. Btw, once we move to 1.13 I can copy over any of your builds and your inventory, nothing will be lost!

The taxman has arrived at KaizenWorlds
KaizenWorlds now has the premium Factions Tax plugin which ads a new game dynamic and should help us get rid of old inactive Factions.

Taxes are collected once every 24 hours. The base tax for owning a faction is $5 and then $0.1 per chunk owned so a faction with a HUGE 500 chunk claim will cost you $55 a day. You can simply add money to the faction bank to cover that or tax your faction members to automate things. Members who have not logged on for 3 days won’t be taxed which will protect peoples money when they cant play for a while.

I’m happy to report that the server player base is once more increasing. It’s still nowhere near the level of 3 years ago but moving in the right direction!
